David Russell

OnRamp DFW President and maker of amazing nachos

David spent his childhood and early adult life in North Dallas, where he was raised as one of five children in a single-income Christian family. He was encouraged toward Christian discipleship and service through the impact of youth group leaders at his church, and during his undergrad years at Texas A&M, he became involved in international missions while completing his degree in entrepreneurial business.

As missionaries in Nicaragua from 2008-2015, he and his wife, Kristina served as educators and mentors for high school students and experienced the faithful financial provision of God through the generosity and care of people in the church. Looking for opportunities to similarly participate in God’s provision for others upon their return to Dallas, David was inspired by the meaningful impact and intentional business model of OnRamp TX, founded in College Station by a friend, Blake Jennings.

His involvement in OnRamp DFW is driven by his desire to live out the sacrificial love modeled by Jesus and to share with others the grace of God, which has generously been shared with him. David is a father of four children has been blessed to participate in both full-time ministry and full-time business ventures, where he loves thinking about the big picture and strategic direction of the organization.
